In this study, the process research of lithium recovery from meta-aluminate powder was carried out, and the leaching-extraction-precipitation process was developed to successfully recover lithium from lithium meta-aluminate powder and prepare Li2CO3 products. First of all, the raw material powder is first leached with caustic soda through high-pressure reaction, and the leaching solution is obtained after filtration, and the lithium is separated and extracted from the leaching solution by the extraction method, and the high-purity lithium-rich solution is obtained, which can be directly used for the preparation of lithium carbonate products, and the purity of the lithium carbonate products obtained is higher than 99%, and the lithium precipitation mother liquor is returned to the extraction section in order to minimize the lithium loss. Through this process can effectively control the lithium recovery rate ≥ 98%, the purity of lithium carbonate products are ≥ 98%.
