I have over 14 years of experience in extractive metallurgy, specializing in ion exchange, precipitation, solvent extraction, and related technologies. My Master’s research focused on the processing of monazite ores and the extraction of rare earth elements using solvent extraction. Building on this foundation, I completed my PhD at Murdoch University, Perth, where I investigated the extractive metallurgy of rare earths from phosphate ores.
Following my doctoral studies, I worked as a Research Officer at Curtin University (WASM), Perth, before joining Iluka Resources two years ago as a Senior Process Engineer in the Technical Development team. In this role, I continue to drive process development and innovation in mineral sands and rare earth processing.
