Jiyizhe Zhang
Jiyizhe Zhang studied chemical engineering in her undergraduate. Starting from 2017, she took a jointly awarded PhD programme working at Tsinghua University and the University of Melbourne, working on modelling of continuous solvent extraction processes for pharmaceutical applications. She received her PhD in 2022 and then joined University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on develop artificial intelligence (AI) and lab automation workflows to accelerate process development. In the coming October, she will join University of Manchester as Lecturer (assistant professor) in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
