Jin-Young Lee
Prof. Dr. Jin-Young Lee is a Principal Researcher at KIGAM, where he has worked since 2000, and Chief of Major Professor at UST, specializing in hydrometallurgy, solvent extraction, and recycling. He earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Kwangwoon University, Seoul. Since 2007, he has also been a professor at UST, mentoring and graduating over ten PhD students. Dr. Lee boasts a prolific publication record with over 100 SCI/SCI(E) papers, a book, multiple book chapters, and numerous patents, totaling over 255 research publications. His impactful work has received over 4000 citations, resulting in an h-index of 35. A life member of several Korean professional associations, Dr. Lee has also been recognized with awards from various ministries and the Korean President for his significant contributions to research and development.
